What are your hours?


We are open every day from 9:30 AM - 11:00 PM. Holidays may affect opening and closing hours.




Where are you located?


Upper 90 Soccer Center is located at: 34-19 38th Street Astoria, NY 11101 We are just around the corner from the Steinway Street subway stop of the M & R trains.




How big are the fields?


Upper 90 Soccer Center has three fields - two outdoor and one indoor. The outdoor fields are 40 x 80 ft and the indoor field is 36 x 76 ft.




What kind of turf are the fields?


The two outdoor fields on the roof are field turf with sand and rubber infill. The indoor field is underpadded with no infill.





Rentals

How much does it cost to rent a field?


You can request to book the whole space, or just a portion. Price varies by day, time and availability. To get a quote, you can fill out our request form.




How much does it cost to book a birthday party?


We have a basic birthday party package but add-ons will change the price. If you are interested in booking a birthday party, you can fill out the birthday party rental form.




How many players can be on the field at once?


We recommend playing 5-v-5, but if you are renting the field it is ultimately up to you.




What do I need to bring?


The fields at Upper 90 Soccer Center are turf so we do not allow cleats. We recommend wearing either indoor or turf shoes. We provide all other necessary equipment upon request.




What are my food options?


For events like birthday parties, field rentals, and viewing parties, there are a few food options. The Crossbar Cafe has snacks and drinks on site, you can order catering through our catering partner, or you can bring your own food.





Programs

What do I need to bring?


The fields at Upper 90 Soccer Center are turf so we do not allow cleats. For footwear, we recommend either indoor or turf shoes. We provide all other necessary equipment.




Do I need to sign a waiver?


Yes, everyone must sign a waiver before participating in any activity.




Do you have programs for kids?


Yes, we host Open Play for toddler-aged children and DV7 for children aged 6-12.




Do you accept cash?


Yes, we do accept cash. However, you cannot reserve a spot ahead of time by paying cash. You can reserve a spot by booking through Glofox, which uses credits that you buy with a debit or credit card.




Can we still play when it's raining?


We play rain or shine at Upper 90 Soccer Center, whether it's a private field rental or pickup soccer. Some leagues who rent our space may decide to cancel for inclement weather, and they would contact you directly. However, we do not keep the roof open when there is lightning in the area due to safety concerns.




What is the minimum number of players needed for a pickup session to be held?


The minimum number of people needed for a pickup session is 6.





Glofox

What is Glofox?


Glofox is the software we use to manage most program bookings at Upper 90 Soccer Center.




How do I sign up for Glofox?


You can sign up for Glofox via the app or on your desktop. All new members receive one free session. You can find the app in the Apple Store or in Google Play, or you can register online.




I just signed up. When do I get my free credit?


We enter the free credits manually. A member of our staff will give you your free credit as soon as possible. If you feel you are due a free credit, you can email or call our customer service team.




I forgot my Glofox password. How do I recover it?


To reset your password, follow the prompts to sign in and click on the "Forgot Password?" link.




I'm on the waitlist for a class. How do I know if a spot becomes available?


When you move off of the waitlist for a session, you will receive a booking confirmation email. This means you are now booked in the class.




How do I cancel a class on Glofox?


When you booked the session, you should have received a booking confirmation email which contains a link to cancel the session. You can also cancel through the Glofox app by giong to the Classes section of the main page, selecting the session you signed up for, and selecting "Cancel Booking" at the bottom of your screen.




Why am I unable to book a class on Glofox?


If you are attempting to book a class after it has started, you can not book through Glofox. In this case, you would need to contact an Upper 90 Soccer Center staff member. In any other cases, if you are experiencing difficulties booking a class, please email or call our customer service team.




What's the difference between a 10 Pack and an Unlimited Membership?


A 10 Pack is one-time purchase for a set of 10 credits that can be used for a specific class, with no expiration. An Unlimited Membership is a recurring monthly subscription that allows you to book as many sessions as you want of a specific class.




How do I cancel my Unlimited Membership?


In order to cancel your Unlimited Membership, you must email or call our customer service team before the end of the month. Otherwise, you will be still be charged in full on the first of the next month.




Why can't I use a credit to book a class?


There are certain class offerings that you cannot use credits for. Credits that are purchased from a membership package can only be used towards specific classes. For example, your Open Play membership credits will not work for booking a Pickup Soccer session.
